Chris McCluskey talks to The Courier Mail ahead of the climb

Brisbane bizoid Chris McCluskey has never done any serious trekking but he’s off to climb the world’s highest freestanding mountain as an act of charity.

He boarded a plane last night, bound for Tanzania and the 5895m summit of Mt Kilimanjaro.

McCluskey, who toils for property fund manager ISPT, is one of more than a dozen executives from across the country who have collectively amassed more than $1.1 million in pledges ahead of their epic adventure…
