And… they’re off!

After almost a year of planning and fundraising, Charlie and his Million$Mission team have finally embarked on their bold mission to climb the world’s tallest freestanding mountain – Africa’s imposing 5,900m Mt Kilimanjaro, to raise $1m for brain cancer research.

The team will stop over in Dubai for four hours before making their way to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where they’ll board a small plane for Tanzania.

From there, it’s a long drive to Lake Duluti Lodge, where the climbers will catch some much-needed shuteye, before beginning their eight-day trek. After the 30-hour journey from Australia to Africa, they’ll need it!
